It is with great sadness that we report the passing away of Elissa Hadley, the powerful and poignant vocalist who sang with Breathlanes from 1996 until 2001. She succumbed to a season-long battle with cancer in the early hours of August 27th. She was 36 years old.

It would be difficult to overestimate the power and lyricism that Elissa possessed and presented with Breathlanes, and her other projects. One need only listen to any portion of "For Now" to appreciate her gift, and her contribution.

On behalf of John, Jamie, Dave, Darrin, A.J., and Michael, we send our heartfelt condolences to her family, and remain certain beyond question that her music and spirit will continue to resonate with listeners far into the future. She forever dances among angels.
